Greater Peterborough Model Club

Welcome to the Greater Peterborough Model Club website

Non members may know us from our attendance at model shows around the country and many may know us through our Model Show held every March at Peterborough town hall.
Not only do we attend shows however, we also have a thriving model club with around 40 paid up members although not all attend every meeting, but we generally have an attendance of 15- 25 members at most club meetings.
We meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 8.00pm until 10.00 pm ish in the convivial atmosphere of THE BLUE BELL, WERRINGTON, PETERBOROUGH which is situated on THE GREEN in a village setting. We cover almost all tastes from aircraft to sci-fi via armour, autos, figures and Formula 1 , and those are just the most obvious interests, and the quality is always outstanding. We do not however take ourselves too seriously, there be no rivet-counters here, life is too short for that sort of thing! We have a theme of some sort for our club meetings which at the moment is NUMBERS, with a show theme which this year is RED, WHITE AND BLUE, in the expectation that this will include as many people as possible.
We also recruit from a wide area with members coming from places such as St. Ives, Kettering or Huntingdon, so distance is not necessarily an obstacle. We are always happy to recruit new members, so dont sit at home modelling on your own, come along and share your passion with fellow modellers.
If you want more information contact us via the web site, or e-mail me at raybaglin@hotmail.com.
See you there, Ray Baglin, chairman.
